Ownership of Aurora
Aurora co-founders and Managing Directors, Claire Eldridge and Neil Crump launched their consultancy in 2005. Each has extensive communications experience having worked at and run a number of high-profile PR network agencies. They met at Fleishman-Hillard Healthcare (formerly CPR Group) in 2002, where they delivered winning global and UK campaigns for many successful brands.
At Fleishman-Hillard Claire co-chaired the agency’s Global Healthcare Practice Group, overseeing the European healthcare PR offices. She also established and directed Fleishman-Hillard Creative in the UK. Before joining Fleishman-Hillard, she worked in Sydney, Australia, for Burson-Marsteller, and before that at agency Clear, where she honed her healthcare PR and crisis management skills working on public sector campaigns for the NHS, professional and trade bodies and medical charities.

Prior to starting Aurora, Neil was Board Director of Athena Medical PR, consistently delivering award-winning work for his healthcare clients. During nearly seven years with Fleishman-Hillard, he also gained in-house experience as part of a secondment with AstraZeneca to manage the communications of a product launch.
